Around 25,000 homes in southeastern Queensland woke up lacking electricity on Monday morning after intense storm systems impacted the area, producing wind gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Ice Stones and Widespread Damage
Residents reported giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in some areas. Weather authorities confirmed that multiple regions across Queensland had been hit with large hailstones.
